This month, in recognition of Black History Month, our regular Diversity Initiative Happy Hour Discussion will be a weekend event for you to invite partners, children, other family members, and friends.

We will meet at Regal Cinema, 900 Ellsworth Drive, Silver Spring on Sunday, February 26 for the 4 p.m. screening of "Hidden Figures". After the movie we will walk to Eggspectation (923 Ellsworth Drive) to get something to eat and discuss the movie. If you have already seen the movie, please feel free to meet us just for the discussion (we should arrive at the restaurant around 6:15 p.m.). Our discussion will include generational perspectives on race relations, segregation, representation, gender roles, and other topics covered in and prompted by the movie.
