The Joint President/Senate Inclusion & Respect Task Force has developed several working groups to tackle major elements of its charge. The Free Speech/Hate Speech working group is hosting an open discussion on the difficult intersections between free speech and hate speech. Members of the working group will briefly describe the legal framework and then hold a collaborative discussion on how best to address free speech and hate speech at the university.
