You are cordially invited to the symposium "Producing Knowledge for Action: A Multi-Perspective Conversation from Prince George's County" honoring the work of Professor Judith Freidenberg on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
The symposium will take place at the Colony Ballroom in Adele H. Stamp Student Union, and will engage four stakeholder gruops--county residents, service providers, anthropologists, and the university--in a conversation about two major, interrelated social issues affecting the well-being of the county: migration and health.
The symposium aims to promote understanding of how stakeholder groups might come together and what keeps them apart as they engage the issues of migration and health.
