Tuesday, October 3rd will be the first Washington Association of Practicing Anthropologists meeting of the season.  There will be a discussion of advocacy videos on raising children in poverty.  A video ethnography created by LTG Associates for the California Department of Heath Care Services will be shown and there will be a discussion with the presenters.  Anyone attending is also welcome to come to dinner at the Mayflower Hotel, Edgar Bar and Restaurant at 5:30 before the meeting.
