May 2013 Commencement was a momentous day in our graduate program.  In 2007, we established our PhD program and two members of the first class were hooded during the Commencement Ceremony. Congratulations to Dr. Mari Tina Zapour who was hooded by her advisor, Dr. Judith Freidenberg, and Dr. Jocelyn Knauf, who was hooded by her advisor, Dr. Mark Leone.  This is truly an outstanding accomplishment and an important milestone for our growing department.
