Dr. Andrea López Awarded a Connection Grant by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada

Dr. Andrea López is part of a team that was recently awarded a Connection Grant by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada. She will be a Co-Investigator on the project: "Re-Imagining Policing: A Three-Part Radio Documentary about Policing and Sex Work, Mental Health and Addiction." This project is being conducted in collaboration with the award-winning podcast CRACKDOWN. "CRACKDOWN is a monthly podcast about drugs, drug policy, and the drug war led by drug user activists and supported by research. It is a series that examines the drug war, covered by drug users as war correspondents. Each episode tells the story of a community fighting for their lives.
