MAA and HISP student, Emma Gruesbeck, has recently published her first article on the National Park Service.
Gruesbeck is an intern at the Cultural Resources Office of Interpretation and Education. Her article is based on the history of restoring Hyde Park through community efforts, and how these same strategies can be used in the present to combat challenges that arise from climate change. The article is titled “History and Hope: Hyde Park Historic District, Burkeville, VA: Creating Climate Hope through Community Aid.” The article can be be read here.
