Kenneth “Kent” Aasand II is currently the Archaeological Site File Manager at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, which serves as the MS SHPO, where he has worked for three years. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with his B.A. in Anthropology and worked in CRM as a field technician for a little over six years mostly in the Southeastern U.S., taking a break in between to go back to school and teach high school Chemistry. Kent’s main academic areas of interest are Geographical Information Systems and Geophysics. He is currently working to obtain his M.P.S. so that he can take on more roles and responsibilities while furthering his career. In his spare time, Kent enjoys listening to music, reading, watching movies, playing video games, and enjoying a good board game or two with friends.
