Tom Christian is a scholar of the Humanities and a Clinical Social Worker currently serving as Deputy Chief Strategy Officer for the Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network in Waco, Texas. Tom is a Veteran of the United States Navy having served as a uniformed Clinical Social Worker in the Navy’s Medical Service Corps both in the U.S. and in the Persian Gulf, and he has extensive experience in clinical psychotherapy, grant management, and program development. Tom has maintained a compelling interest in Archaeology throughout his life, and he is a first-year Cultural and Heritage Resource Management Master of Professional Studies student at the University of Maryland. Tom has published academic articles on various topics; he also has completed a dissertation in 2012 focusing his research on a Navajo rock art site located in northern New Mexico.
