Nicole Martin is a student in the Cultural Resource and Heritage Management master’s program at the University of Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and History at the University of South Florida in 2020.  Since then, she has worked on several cultural resource management projects in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Nicole has experience leading large pedestrian and subsurface surveys, conducting historic architectural surveys, data recovery excavation, and precontact and historic site recordation. She is currently employed with Tetra Tech as a Crew Chief for the Sentinel project and is looking forward to advancing her career after completion of her masters.
