Tamara is a graduate of the MAA/MHP duel degree, looking to get into a career in archaeological collections management. She completed her Bachelor's degree at Hood College in Frederick Maryland. In the past she has interned for the National Civil War Medicine Museum and the Jewish Museum of Maryland. She got archaeological field experience working at Chadir Hoyuk mound site in the Yozgat region of Turkey, and Cahokia Mounds, Illinois. She was a graduate assistant at the David C. Driskell Center helping to create and implement digitization policies for the on campus art gallery.
