Scott Tooker is an alum of the CHRM program, having received his master's degree in 2023. His thesis is titled A Landscape Illuminated: An Archaeological Investigation into the Built Landscape of Split Rock Lighthouse. Weaving together historical documentation, archaeological fieldwork, and GIS, Tooker's thesis examines the transformation of landscape undertaken for the building and development of the Split Rock Lighthouse, located on the north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota.

Scott Tooker is a graduate student in the Cultural and Heritage Resource Management (CHRM) master’s program. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2013 and has been working in heritage management since. Mr. Tooker has worked in the museum setting, private cultural resource management industry, and state and federal governments. He has a wealth of experience in the Midwest and Mountain West. Currently, he works as an Archaeologist for the Minnesota Historical Society in their Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Parks and Trails program.
