In recognition of National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day - September 18th, 2019, Grantmakers in Aging published a new report, Aging Positively: Bringing HIV/AIDS into the Aging Services Mainstream. The guide brings attention to the aging population living with HIV/AIDS and their unanticipated needs. The guide also features the research of Dr. Thurka Sangaramoorthy with underserved populations living with HIV and the concept of “intersection stigma”.
