Congratulations to the following anthropology undergraduates who received various scholarships at the annual 2018 College of Behavioral & Social Sciences Scholarship & Donor Recognition Dinner:
- Katherine Calvert received the Shackel and Little Family Endowed Scholarship, which was established in 2015 by Dr. Paul A. Shackel and Dr. Barbara Little to provide annual, need-based scholarships for undergraduate students in the Department of Anthropology.
- Hannah Dale received the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Scholarship Award, which is awarded to academically outstanding undergraduate students within BSOS.
- Noelle Thompson-Worthington received the Beardsley Family Endowed Student Experience Fund, which was established in 2016 by Dr. Katherine Pedro Beardsley and Dr. Robert Beardsley to support student stipends for experiential learning opportunities as approved by BSOS.
- Lionel Majano received the Robert R. Satterfield LGBTQ+ Opportunities Endowed Fund, which was established in 2016 by Robert “Bob” R. Satterfield, ECON ‘95, to support learning opportunities for students in BSOS who demonstrate a commitment to promoting civil rights for and preventing discrimination against LGBTQ+ people.
