Dr. Judith Freidenberg was recently selected to receive the St. George’s Day Award in recognition of her publication, Contemporary Conversations on Immigration in the United States: The View from Prince George’s County.

Each year the Prince George’s County Historical Society celebrates the county’s founding by recognizing  individuals and groups that have made significant contributions the preservation of its heritage.
