Congratulations to Dr. Madeline Brown in the publication of her new article titled Local Governance, Ecological Knowledge, and Spatial Models: Assessing Resource Access in a Forest Commons recently published in the Human Ecology journal. In this publication, Dr. Brown examines how wild mushroom harvesters distribute themselves relative to available mushroom resources in the forest, which is used to further examine how resource access, perceptions of resource abundance, and local governance norms interact at a local level.
