Congratulations to Dr. Mark Leone, for having a special issue dedicated in the Journal Vestígios due to his contribution to archeology throughout the years!

The volume is composed of two parts, a first with a short presentation of the content and the translation of Dr. Leone's articles into Spanish and Portuguese, and a second one, with 7 papers written by Latin American archaeologists, including one by Claire Smith, dealing with issues associated with ideas originally raised by the acclaimed archaeologist. We also want to congratulate Dr. Paul Shackel, who is featured in one of the articles due to his collaboration with Dr. Leone.
