For the third summer in a row, the Department of Anthropology has lead an archaeology crew to Eckley Miners’ Village to understand the heritage of the town and the people who lived there. This year, the archaeology and preservation field team, led by Drs. Paul Shackel and Don Linebaugh, is examining more than 150 outbuildings associated with domestic structures throughout the village.
