Fabio Correa, a first year PhD student, was accepted as an International Teaching Fellow into the Graduate School International Teaching Fellows (ITF) Program. The TLTC supports International Graduate Teaching Assistants (IGTAs) in their professionalization as university teachers and future faculty. The yearlong program pairs novice international teachers with a senior international graduate student mentor.

In addition, Fabio was recently elected as the new Department of Anthropology representative on DGSAC (Dean’s Graduate Student Advisory Council). Fabio will be joining Stefan Woehlke in attending the meetings and will be a moderator of the GROW panel.
