Leslie Crippen was selected as the winner of the Student Paper Competition for the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology (SHA). Her paper, “Finding our Place: Uncovering Queer Hidden Heritage in the U.S. with the National Park Service” was the strong favorite of the Student Paper Competition Committee and her work stood out among the judges as a piece of first-rate scholarship. The award will be presented to Leslie at the 2016 SHA conference in Washington, DC. Congratulations, Leslie!
