Megan Bailey has accepted a dissertation fellowship for the 2016-2017 academic year from the University of Pennsylvania's McNeil Center for Early American Studies. The fellowship includes a residency at the University of Pennsylvania and funding to support her dissertation writing and research. The McNeil Center facilitates scholarly inquiry into the histories and cultures of North America in the Atlantic world before 1850, with a particular emphasis on the mid-Atlantic region, and encourages the use of Philadelphia's manuscript, rare book, and museum collections. Congratulations, Megan!
