Undergraduate Victoria (Tori) Tully, an anthropology and global health and development double major, has won a summer internship award from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. The CDC Collegiate Leaders in Environmental Health program is a 9-week summer environmental internship for students who are passionate about the environment and human health. Tori was one of only 8 students accepted from an applicant pool of 289. 

Tori is a member of the Honors College (University Honors Program), and has previously held internships with Catholic Relief Services and with the Army Public Health Command. At Maryland, Tori has been a leader in various student organizations, including the Anthropology Student Association and the Delta Epsilon Mu PUblic pre-health fraternity, of which she is vice president, and she has also co-founded and co-led a student chapter of Catholic Relief Services on campus.
