Dr. Andrea Lopez Named Edward McKJohnson Jr. Endowed Fellow

Congratulations to Dr. Andrea Lopez on being named the Edward McKJohnson Jr. Endowed Fellow for the 2020-2021 academic year. The fellowship is awarded to a faculty member whose teaching provides inspiration and encouragement for able students to enter careers in local government.

Dr. Lopez will embark on a one-year series of research and teaching activities that address the intersection of racial justice and health justice in anthropology. Her work will include mentoring and publishing with students, curriculum design, and developing publicly engaged webinars.
