Dr. Andrea Lopez receives the Exemplary Researcher Award

Dr. Andrea Lopez was honored at the 2023 Maryland Research Excellence Celebration and received the Exemplary Researcher Award for BSOS.  She recently completed a state-wide assessment of drug use and services that was funded by the Maryland Department of Health through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Crisis Response Funds) and was appointed by the Maryland Secretary of Health to the Maryland Department of Health’s Standing Advisory Committee on Opioid-Associated Disease Prevention and Outreach Programs. We thank Dr. Lopez for her continued research and expertise in the field!
