Dr. Andrea López Recipient of BSOS 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award

Congratulations to Dr. Andrea López, who was awarded the BSOS 2021 Excellence in Teaching Award from the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences! As one of her students wrote in the nomination packet: "Dr. López has always been someone I felt I could rely on for support and advice. She has a wide array of professional experiences that allow her to both relate to her students and offer them advice. Dr. López was the only Latinx professor I had throughout my undergraduate tenure and as a first-generation minority scholar, I can honestly say her presence had an immense impact on my academic success and career trajectory."
