Kaleigh is an environmental anthropologist focusing on the impacts of climate change on human, animal, and plant populations. Her interests span topics ranging from sustainability, resilience theory, indigenous ecological knowledge, food and water security, and wildlife preservation. Kaleigh graduated with a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2013 and has since gained professional experience in the museum industry working with Native American communities. This summer, she interned with the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in the Terrestrial Ecology lab, where she worked on projects examining plant invasions, soybean bacterial diversity, and methane production in forest plots.

During the 2019-20 academic year, Kaleigh will serve as the Graduate Administrative Assistant for the College of Arts & Humanities Development Office.
