Nicholas Galloway is an MAA graduate from the University of Maryland in cultural anthropology. He earned his Masters in Applied Anthropology in 2022, and earned his BA degree in Anthropology in 2018, also at the University of Maryland. He is interested in the broad apparatus of ICE/DHS as it pertains to the material, social, and personal effects of the carceral state.

His M.A.A project was titled "Dignity Not Detention: A Discourse Analysis of Maryland Immigration Activism." Click here to view a condensed presentation of his M.A.A research.
