Katie Gill is a third-year masters student in her final semester in the Applied Anthropology and Historic Preservation dual program. Katie's work is on the material culture of the 17th and 18th centuries in the Middle Atlantic, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Senegambian regions. Using traditional archaeological cataloging for analysis and chemical analysis using x-ray x-ray fluorescence. She has an interest in landscape archaeology, learning communities, communities of practice, and the intersections between heritage and the environment.
