Sean is a historical archaeologist working towards a Masters in Applied Anthropology. Prior to entering the program in 2018, Sean gained experience as a lab technician, excavation technician, collections management assistant, and museum educator. Over the course of his experience he has worked for organizations such as The Lost Towns Project, The Germanna Foundation, Historic London Town, and The College Park Aviation Museum. During this time he has gained experience on colonial and post-colonial sites, laboratory and collections management, public programming, and educational programming. Currently he is an intern for the National Park Service National Capital Region where he assists with maintaining archaeological collections and conducting field surveys around the region. 

His research focuses on public engagement of archaeological sites, the conservation and curation of archaeological collections in perpetuity, and material cultural as consumerism. Sean is interested in applying his archaeological research to the betterment of the public trust within the Chesapeake Region.
