Bio

Originally hailing from Upstate New York, Catt's passion for archaeology began in Middle school and has subsequently grown into the pursuit of a lifetime career. Her ideal focus is in Historical Archaeology from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Her favorite artifact is a Chamber Pot because she believes that its function extends past its utilitarian value. Under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Shackel, she hopes to continue to build upon her archaeological knowledge and further her research on chamber pots in the remaining time she has at the University of Maryland College Park.
