Bogen, Katharine

Bio

Currently residing in Nashville, TN, Katharine is an archaeologist with 2.5 years of experience in CRM working as a field technician. She has worked on Phase I and II surveys across the southeast in 9 different states so far. She has also worked as an archaeological research consultant for Middle Tennessee State University and Vanderbilt University doing artifact processing, identification, research, and photography. This work was done for the Bass Street Community Archaeology Project at Fort Negley in Nashville, TN.

She received her BA from the University of Mary Washington in May 2023 where she graduated cum laude and with departmental honors in Classics. She majored in Historic Preservation and Classics (with a concentration in classical archaeology). Research interests include architectural history and urban archaeology.

When not in the field or in the lab, Katharine can be found gaming, reading, dancing, playing the flute, or spending time with her wonderful friends.
