Practicing Anthropology Student Association
About
The Practicing Anthropology Student Association (PASA), is a professional and social organization that is dedicated to creating opportunities for students to succeed at UMD and fostering a sense of community for graduate students within the department. PASA regularly holds events internally, and in collaboration with other professional networks across the DMV for workshops, seminars, and more. Each month students in the program can get a newsletter about exciting new events and opportunities hosted by PASA. PASA also holds the annual Anthro+ Conference where students can get a chance to share and present their work. Each year the conference is also opened by a distinguished faculty member of the department.
